IELTS exam Essay Planning 2:  Writing paragraphs

Once you've completed the brainstorming stage you need to look at your notes and decide which ideas are the strongest.  That means the ideas that you feel strongest about because these will be easier to write about.

Remember, you have to write an essay of at least 250 words (but really no more than 300).  There will be an introduction and conclusion paragraph, and they probably represent 50 words each.  So you have to write about your main ideas in 150 to 200 words.  This means 2 or 3 paragraphs depending on the essay question.
