Australia Network has produced an IELTS exam TV series!
Each episode is about 10 minutes long and focuses on various parts of the test, as well as grammar and vocabulary. I've used some of these programs with my IELTS class because I think they're so good! For Writing take a look at Series 1 and 2.
IELTS Academic Writing Task 2 - the essay

The first part of the essay question is generally presented as a statement with an argument, opinion or problem. This is followed by the question. Students normally need to discuss this situation and give their opinion. It is important to read the question part carefully so that you answer it appropriately.
